Supporters Stage "Read In" At Warren Library
The fingerpointing over the budget centers on whether slot machines should be used to help balance the budget -- the latest salvo coming from Governor Ted Strickland, who says Republicans are playing politics for not wanting to bring his gambling proposal up for a vote.
All this is little consolation for agencies bracing for what could be huge budget cuts of their own -- like the state's public libraries -- and in Warren this morning, there was an unusually quiet show of support taking place.
