The murder trial for 14-year-old Jordan Brown, accused of killing his father's pregnant fiancee, will not be open to the public.

The Wampum boy was just 11 when he allegedly killed Kenzie Houk, 26, and her unborn child Feb. 20, 2009.

State law originally required Brown to be charged as an adult, but his attorneys convinced a Lawrence County judge to move the case to juvenile court. ?Another judge then ordered the trial closed to the public. Three newspapers filed an appeal to that decision, saying they have a constitutional right to attend the trial.

Wednesday, a Pennsylvania Superior Court panel upheld the decision to keep the trial closed to the public.
