If you happened to pass through downtown Youngstown on Monday, you may have caught an unusual sight.

Workers with Nabors Well Services placed what's known as a workover rig right outside the Covelli Centre.

It's going to be used as a life-sized display for this week's Youngstown, Ohio, Utica and Natural Gas Expo, which will be held inside the arena.

A workover rig is what crews would use after the actual well-drilling has been finished. It would be used for installing and replacing equipment and material at the well site.

The conference will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday and feature a morning session that's open to the general public focusing on benefits to the community from this growing industry.
