A Salem teen plunged to his death at Beaver Creek State Park Tuesday afternoon.
Seventeen year old Dustin Huffman and another youth were exploring a hillside when Huffman lost his footing and fell, head first, onto a bed of rocks a hundred feet below. Huffman was part of Salem's 800 meter relay team which won a state title this year.
Students plan a walk in his memory tomorrow night at 8pm at Reily Stadium.
