An Ohio State University janitor who shot two supervisors, one fatally, and then killed himself had complained he was being treated unfairly.
However, records show Nathaniel Brown slept on the job and was late to work.
He was days away from losing his job when university police say he opened fire with two handguns early yesterday in a maintenance building. No students were hurt.
One supervisor was killed, another remains hospitalized. Police said 51-year-old Brown died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Records also show Brown served about five years in prison on a charge of receiving stolen property. He lied about his criminal history on his job application, and it wasn't immediately clear whether Ohio State had completed a background check.
