Trumbull Commissioners approve a $200,000 contract with a Bristolville company to install 14 septic systems.
King Brothers will now install new systems for 14 homeowners who qualified to have the job done with federal stimulus money. Those getting the systems aren't able to afford to pay for a new one, and live in parts of the county that soon won't be getting sanitary sewers.
Frank Fuda, Trumbull Commissioner explained how the 14 were chosen. "There were about 65 people we had on the list that we sent letters to explaining they qualified and we chose the first 14 that applied."
Commissioners say they hope to be able to help more people in the county in the future.
