Liberty Woman Accused of Abusing 6-Year-Old

A Liberty Township woman has been accused of abusing a 6-year-old boy.

Jenalynne Davidson, 26, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to several charges, including felonious assault and gross sexual imposition.

She is being held in the Trumbull County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

Prosecutors said alert school officials contacted police after noticing the child's injuries.

"I think it is absolutely important that people report these incidents," said assistant Trumbull County Prosecutor Gabe Wildman. "Trumbull County Children Services did an excellent job. The mandatory reporters at Liberty schools did an excellent job at bringing this to the attention of law enforcement."

The child is now in foster care and is recovering.

Heres the situation ... The accused is my ex. She has two children of her own and is truthfully a wonderful mother. She was accused of doing it to her ex boyfriends child, he was recently let out prison for nearly beating a man to death and just got off parole ... So if he's found guilty, he's going back for good. I promise you she's innocent. So please don't make comments if you don't know the situation ... She was simply terrified for her life living there and didn't know how to get out ... And once she did, then all this was accused. She's innocent, but you may think what you'd like.

Even if Nitro is right and some man was to blame, she was responsible for that child's safety and well being. She'll have her day in court.

Kudos, to getting Childrens Services involved and getting that child out of the home. I dont care who you are if you are under 18, you do not deserve to be hit or have injuries from a parent. This parent does not deserve a child if he is 6 years old and getting injuiries. Would like to know what they are though?
