Former Representative, Frank LaGrotta will spend six months under house arrest after pleading guilty in Dauphin County court.
He is accused of giving two relatives no-show state jobs . LaGrotta's sister, Ann Bartolomeo, and niece, Alissa Lemmon pleaded no contest to lying to a grand jury.
Prosecutors say the Democratic state legislator put them on the payroll and allowed them to collect more than twenty-five thousand dollars of tax-payer's money.
All three also were fined, and LaGrotta is required to pay twenty-seven thousand in restitution.
