Jury selection began Tuesday for a Warren man facing complicity to murder charges in connection with the shooting death of a Howland man in December.

Oryan Miller, 19, is accused of trying to rob Cameron Murray when gunfire broke out at Murray's Howland home. Murray died that night and another defendant in the case, Delshawn Scrivens, a few months later.

The case is expected to take about one week to try. If convicted, Miller could get more than 20 years in prison.

Murray was found dead in the doorway of his apartment in Howland's Sawgrass Development Dec. 23. Shortly after that, Miller and Scrivens showed up at local hospitals with gunshot wounds.

Scrivens later died from his wounds.

Michael Ahladis faces sentencing on charges of complicity to involuntary manslaughter, complicity to aggravated burglary and tampering with evidence in the case.
