In Boardman Township, voters are choosing to go in a different direction. Incumbent trustees Kathy Miller and Robyn Gallito were defeated by past trustee Thomas Costello and Brad Calhoun, former teacher’s union president. In Austintown, trustee Bo Pritchard was turned out of office while fellow incumbent David Ditzler was the top vote-getter and will serve a fifth term.

In Campbell, John Dill was ousted by challenger George Krinos 57% to 43%. Krinos will now have the task of leading the city out of fiscal emergency.
