A Valley man, believed to be visiting family in Florida, was killed Thursday in North Miami.

Police say 48-year-old Robert Tombo was shot while sitting in his van early Thursday morning.

Surveillance video shows Tombo parked near a city park, when a man walks up to the driver's side and opens fire.

At one point, Tombo had been named an honorary Mahoning County Sheriff's Deputy. Tombo leaves behind a wife and three daughters.
