The community of Girard is coming together Saturday to help 19 year old Jordan Baer.

Baer is a 2008 graduate of Girard High School.  His family found out last November he would need a heart transplant, so the community rallied this weekend, holding a chinese and a silent auction, along with a dance at the Eagles Hall in Girard.  People have donated more than 100 baskets for the event.

Baer's family is overwhelmed with the community support, and they say Jordan is in high spirits.
