The Mahoning Valley Scrappers are sending their prayers to a little boy hurt Wednesday night at the ball game.

Four-year-old Luke Holko was hit by a foul ball in the head during the second game of a double-header and was taken to the hospital.

Dave Smith the Scrappers General Manager says it's the worst he has seen in 11 years.

Officials say the boy was transported to a Akron Children's Hospital on Thursday where he is listed in critical condition.

Aunt Rae, Please let Luke know that many thoughts and prayers are with him. He has touched so many of our hearts, especially those of us who are parents. I can't imagine what your family is going through right now. You are all in our thoughts, in our hearts and in our prayers. Please keep us posted as to how he is doing and, if possible, include an address or PO Box where we can send cards so he knows just how many people are thinking about him. Also, please give him a hug and a kiss for me...just tell him it's from one of many people who are thinking about him tonight. Take care and God Bless!
