Man Charged with Raping Children in Foster Care

A man from Minerva has pleaded guilty to rape charges.

Sixty-seven-year-old Clarence Davis entered the plea in Mahoning County Court Monday morning. Proseuctors say Davis assaulted three children while they were in foster care. He will be sentenced at a later date.

We have something seriously wrong with our foster care system in this state, if not this country. locally, we hear of these foster care abuses more often then we should. There needs to be an overhaul of the system and more checks and balances.
