Forum Health was back in Federal Bankruptcy Court Tuesday afternoon. This was the second hearing on the troubled healthcare provider's Chapter 11 Bankruptcy filing.
Much of Tuesday's session centered around the possible appointment of someone to oversee patient care in Forum facilities. The company's lawyers say it isn't necessary, and that their facilities have always provided excellent care.
However, both the State Attorney General's office, and the US Trustee overseeing the bankruptcy say it is a must because of the uncertain future of Forum.
The judge delayed any decision on an appointment until Forum's next court date on May 27.
