Fire Shuts Down Choffin Career & Technical Center

A fire at the Choffin Career & Technical Center cuts the day short for students.

Classes were cancelled for the rest of the day for students at Choffin Career & Technical center after a fire Wednesday morning. Students were evacuated safely from the building around 8:30 a.m. Fire officials say a small electrical fire started in the basement. Electrical service has been turned off and Ohio Edison is investigating. No word if the school will be back open tomorrow.
