Some retirees of International Union of Electrical Workers-Communications Workers of America Local 717 in Warren showed up at U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan's office Monday.

They were upset they won't be represented in Washington D.C. later this week during a House Education and Labor Committee hearing on pensions. While a salaried Delphi retiree will attend the Wednesday hearing, hourly retirees at Ryan's office voiced concerns that they wouldn't be represented.

"As of this time, we have no clue, we have not been told who will be in those seats representing the hourly," said retiree Linda Fanfer.

The retired members said they wanted to go to D.C. and tell the subcommittee how the reduction of their health benefits are affecting their lives.

"Thank God they don't need to testify," said Ryan, D-Niles. "I mean, this was a home run and they're getting 100 percent of their pensions. And this is a hearing on pensions, so there's really no need for them to testify."
