Robert Murray is upset at how our Congressmen are making decisions.  The founder of the largest independent coal operator in the U.S. spoke to a crowd of about 1000 people at a Tea Party in Columbiana County.

"Do you realize this could be our last Independence Day. It's dependence day..dependant on what?  The government?  Booo," says Murray.

The Tea Party, fittingly held on Plymouth Street at the Spread Eagle Tavern in Hanoverton, brought together people of all political parties calling for the firing of our legislators.

"My workers have been laid off.  Every company I know is laying off employees and the stimulus program hasn't done a thing to revive the economy.  It's just more government giveaways," says Dave Johnson.

The crowd also heard from former local car dealer Bob Frederick who lost his Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge dealership a few months ago.  "As of today, we are clear out of cars.  Yesterday, they picked the last ones up," says Bob Frederick.

In the end, organizers asked the crowd to take action by sending pink slips to their Congressmen.

Organizers are hoping with enough notices they will get the message their voters are not happy with their decisions.

I am sorry the writer did not tell more details of these fine gentlemen and the horrid way the government has been dealking with them. The word is not getting to the people but instead is muffled. Hearing the facts of the car and energy (coal) legislation at the Tea Party gave NEW insight to how The "O" government is corrupt and does not care about the working man but ONLY about themselves and their agenda ---not OUR agenda! My eyes were open more as these hard working men spoke about the back-handed dealings from this administration. bj willis
