Residents on Warren's eastside have some fresh produce to serve their families -- thanks to a local church.

Members of the "Alpha and Omega Seventh Day Adventist" congregation spent the afternoon passing out bags of corn, tomatoes, greens and potatoes to neighbors in the area.

The produce was provided by the Second Harvest Foodbank -- and organizers tell us every little bit helps the community.

This is the second week in a row the church has held a food giveaway -- expecting to help at least 100-local families.
