Author and celebrity chef Guy Fieri dropped by the Covelli Center Friday night to drop the puck at the Youngstown Phantoms hockey game.

Also at the game, Phantom Fireworks donated some 60 bikes to 14 different charities in the Youngstown and Trumbull County areas. Showroom managers from around the country were in town this week for meetings. They put together the bikes as part of a team-building challenge.

"This year we decided to incorporate a charitable effort into it because we encourage all of our showrooms to be active in their local community. So as we brought everybody from our company around the country into Youngstown for the two-day meetings, we wanted to set a good example and be involved in our local community," said Daniel Peart of Phantom Fireworks.

The different charities brought 1,600 of their closest friends to Friday's game.

The Phantoms lost to the Muskegon Lumberjacks.
