Most of Stacey Sutera's neighbors actually heard the gunshots Wednesday morning, and if not the gunshots, then they heard the sirens.

"This morning, I was leaving for school about 7:15, and I passed cops on Fairground Boulevard," said neighbor Brianne Goclano.  "And I heard a lot of commotion, and a lot of sirens.  But, I wasn't really sure where they were coming from."

Those who live at the Carriage Hill Apartments in Canfield said they will never forget what happened early Wednesday morning.

"When I got up and heard the news...I can't believe that a hundred yards away from my house that somebody got killed," said Greg Ferri.

Neither Goclano or Ferri knew Stacey Sultera.  But, Goclano is a school teacher too, and said her friends and family called her frantically Wednesday morning thinking she was the murder victim.

"And then, that's when I looked on line and found out what had happened," said Goclano.

"It's a sad situation," said Ferri.  "And unfortunately the family's gonna grieve forever over it."

"I feel very bad that happened, and for everyone that's close to her, my prayers go out to them," said Goclano.
