The Warren home where an officer and three women were injured during an arson earlier this year was demolished Tuesday.

Crews began tearing down the home on Bonnie Brae Ave. N.E. early Tuesday morning.

Three mentally challenged women were living there when it was intentionally set on fire in April.

Officer Doug Hipple was injured trying to rescue the women. One of the women, Melissa Watson, later died from her injuries sustained during the fire.

Police and fire officials are continuting to investigate the arson and have not made any arrests.
