Ambulance Crashes, Sends Two to Hospital

Two EMTs are in the hospital after their ambulance crashed along I-376 westbound in Union Township.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday just south of the exit ramp to U.S. Route 224. Police said the driver lost control, swerved to the right and rolled into a ditch.

The ambulance serves Sharon but wasn't transporting anyone at the time.

The two EMTs were taken to Jamison Hospital with unknown injuries. Crews cleaned up the scene in about an hour.
