By the skin of their teeth, the Sharpsville Blue Devils pulled out a win over the Sharon Tigers, 74-72, at home.
Sharpsville’s Ben Davis scored a game-high 23 points, followed by Chad Piccirilli with 22 and Anthony Sloan with 19. Sharon falls to 1-4 despite Andray Jefferson’s efforts with 21 points, Sam Schweiss with 17 and Marlin Sanders with 15.
Both teams are set to play Jan. 5 when Sharon takes on Oil City and Sharpsville tips-off against West Middlesex.
