Salem's athletic program has found a new home.

The Quakers are leaving the All-American conference to join the Northeastern Buckeye Conference in the 2011-12 school year.  Athletic Director Greg Steffey confirmed the decision Monday evening after it was voted on at the school board meeting.

Salem will take the place of Canal Fulton Northwest, which is leaving the league.  Current members of the N-B-C include West Branch, Canton South, Minerva, Louisville, Alliance, Marlington, and Carrollton.  Steffey said Salem has hopes to schedule some current All-American members as non-conference opponents.
