Zach Kiger scored 24 points to lead Mineral Ridge past Springfield 63-54 Friday night. Kiger tallied four triples in the victory for the Rams. Dan Rogers led Springfield with 15 points, while Jimmy Zubick added 12 in the loss. Tanner Avnet chipped in with 11 for the Tigers.
Mineral Ridge improves to 1-1 on the season, while Springfield drops to 0-2.
