It's been reported over the years that while in prison, Jim Traficant took up the hobby of painting.
In fact, in 2006 the former congressman even donated some of his paintings to a New York artist, who sold them. The pieces were fetching thousands of dollars until prison officials stepped in and ended the sale.
It appears Traficant is at it again, this time selling 3 pieces of his original work on E-bay. Traficant's wife Tish has donated the work, with all the proceeds to benefit the Delphi Salaried Retiree Association, a cause for which Traficant has recently voiced his concern.
The items up for bid were all created in 2008 while the former congressman was in prison. They include, a painting of Betty Boop, a picture of Elvis Presley and an interpretation of a prancing horse. All are signed by Traficant and contain a blue moon at the top left corner with the letter "M." We're told the "M" is Traficant's tribute to actress Mae West.
