Ohio Gov. John Kasich received lots of valentines on Tuesday.
Several Ohio families met in downtown Columbus to hand deliver them. Their message on the day of love was to tell the governor how much they love their land and water, and believe fracking is hurting the state.
"We have to say what is in our heart. We are unable to sleep at night because these injection wells are close to our lands," said Renee Ripple of the group Families Against Fracking.
Governor Kasich, who supports safe fracking practices, wasn't in his office on Tuesday. But the Families Against Fracking protesters were told to leave their valentines and were promised the governor would get them.
