Mahoning County Prosecutor Paul Gains will have to turn over more documents concerning Oakhill Renaissance Place to defense lawyers.

The Supreme Court of Ohio issued a number of rulings in the Oakhill case on Friday, including that Gains will have to provide information his staff has about the project by the middle of next month. Gains had asked the Court to permit viewing of the documents only in the judge's chambers, but Justices determined that to be a moot point since all filings in the case are placed under seal and away from public view.

Defense lawyers in the case have accused Gains of having an improper role in the Oakhill investigation.
