Tuesday, May 15: KENTUCKY MOUNTAIN DINNER at Cortland United Methodist Church, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Benefits Kentucky mission trip. Sweet potato casserole, ham, cornbread, creamed chicken and biscuits, bean soup, cobbler or derby pie.
Wednesday, May 16: SPRING PLANT SALE at Masco Greenhouse, Bev Road and South Avenue Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Annuals, tomatoes, peppers, potted plants, hanging baskets and herbs.
Thursday, May 17: WARD BEECHER PLANETARIUM, YSU, presents Cosmic Castaways, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Secret of the Cardboard Rocket 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Free.
Friday, May 18: PASTA DINNER BENEFITS TYLER BRANCA at St. Charles Church, Boardman, 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Pasta, meatballs, salad, roll and dessert.
