Auctioneer Tom Paranzino showed us around his warehouse in North Lima and if you're in the market for a kitchen remodel he thinks he can save you 50 to 60%.

"These are Silver Creek Cabinet sets, that's the brand that we carry and the best part is, these are all current running line cabinets. So, there's nothing here that's been discontinued or you can't get anymore," said Paranzino.

And that's important if you need extra pieces, or even to replace a knicked cabinet bought "as is" at the auction.  On this day, there's a 14-foot cabinet set that would retail for $8 to $10,000, but at auction could go for $3 to $4,000.

"They're all Maple hardwood boxes, the cabinets are made of plywood," Dovetailed here? "Yeah, dovetailed, these are slow closers -- it has the anti-slam thing," shared Paranzino.

You can find sinks, granite slabs, even appliances like convection ovens, but in most cases, they come without a warranty.

"You're saving so much money, this is probably a $1,500 oven that's going to sell for $3, $4, $500 at auction, something like that.  So, if you're saving a thousand dollars on your oven, does it really matter if you have a warranty at this point?" said Paranzino.

But for the average homeowner, the speed of the auction, and the crowd may be a bit intimidating.  And depending on the scope of your project, Paranzino suggests you have your contractor come along.

If you have a hard time picturing the final product, .they set-up a small showroom at the auction site, and try to re-create the process;.including installing the granite yourself.

"These guys in North Lima are great, they wanted to come in with their buffers and polishers, and I said don't you dare! You guys use a skill saw with a wet blade, you do this rough, like a homeowner that doesn't have fancy tools is going to do it.  So, we put it down and you can see the seams.  They just did silicone joint seams, but still you got granite countertops for a quarter of the price. You bought it at auction and you did it yourself, it's not that hard," said Paranzino.
