The Upstairs Restaurant's Crab Cakes and Trottole Pasta

Crab cakes served over trottole pasta with mushrooms in a Dijon cream sauce with Tim King from The Upstairs Restaurant

Crab Cakes:
½ cup melted butter: $0.85
1 tbl. Dijon mustard: $0.89
2 tbl. mayo: $0.15
Juice of two lemons: $1
4 tbl. of fresh parsley: $0.68
1 tsp. of old bay: $0.12
4 dashes of Worcestershire: $0.32
4 dashes of Tabasco: $0.32
1 sleeve of crackers: $1.08
1 pound of crab meat: $9.99
TOTAL: $15.40

-Mix all of ingredients well and form into four patties.
-Over medium high heat, sauté in a skillet until golden brown.


Trottole Pasta
1 lb. favorite pasta: $2.49
1 pack of mushrooms: $2.50
2 cloves of garlic: $0.50
2 tbl. olive oil: $0.52
1 tbl. butter: $0.25
½ cup sherry: $1.10
1 cup cream: $3.49
1 tsp. Dijon mustard: $0.75
TOTAL: $11.60

-Over medium high heat, add olive oil, butter and mushrooms.
-When tender add garlic, sherry cream and mustard, toss with pasta set crab cakes on top.

Meal Total:
Crab Cakes: $15.40
Trottole Pasta and sauce: $11.60
TOTAL: $27.00
