Savory Crock Pot Pepper Steak
Ingredients
-- 2 lbs. beef round steak (about ½ inch thick)
-- ¼ c. flour
-- 1/8 tsp. salt
-- 1/8 tsp. pepper
-- 1 medium onion, chopped
-- 1 small clove garlic, minced
-- 2 large green peppers, seeded and cut into ½ inch strips
-- 1 (16 oz.) can diced tomatoes
-- 1 tbsp. beef bouillon granules
-- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
-- Cut steak into strips.
-- Combine ¼ cup flour, salt and pepper. Toss with steak strips to coat thoroughly.
-- Put in crock pot with onion, garlic and half of the green pepper strips, stir.
-- Combine tomatoes with bouillon and Worcestershire sauce. Pour into crock pot, covering the strip steaks.
-- Cover and cook on low heat for 8-10 hours.
-- One hour before serving, turn the crock pot to high and stir in remaining green pepper strips. Serve over hot rice. Serves 8.
