The Ohio Ballot Board said a "no" vote will repeal the law and a "yes" vote will keep it.

One of the main provisions of SB5 will base pay for Ohio teachers on performance rather than length of service. It also will create a commission aimed at increasing government efficiency and effectiveness.

Health care and pension pick-up are two areas where cities and townships could benefit from the changes in Senate Bill 5.
