Damon Maloney joined WKBN in January 2011 as a video journalist.  Before joining WKBN, he worked for more than two years as a reporter in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

While in Arkansas, Maloney received two AP Broadcasters Association awards including first place for spot news coverage of an E-F3 Tornado in Mena, Arkansas and a second place award for an enterprise-investigative report on a consumer scam.

Maloney was born and raised in St.Paul/Minneapolis.  He graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2008 with a degree in broadcast journalism.

Maloney looks forward to hitting the streets to cover the stories in the Valley and meeting the people who make it a great place to live and work.
